Using the ‘chat’ option and making a reservation for a building project

When you request for specific information on a building project using the chat option or wish to make a reservation for a building project, we process your personal information only with the purpose of providing you with the specific information on behalf of the seller.

Processing your personal information with the intention of providing you with relevant material is made on your request, prior to entering into a contract with the seller of the building project.

Buying a building project and using ‘My NPV’

If you have purchased a building project we process your personal information only with the purpose of fulfilling the buyer’s contract on behalf of the seller and giving you access to ‘My NPV’ – where all documents and infos of the building project are available.

Processing personal information in connection with buying a building project and accessing ‘My NPV’ is made with the purpose of fulfilling the buyer’s contract between you and the seller, and to provide you with relevant service information.

What do we collect from other sources?

We receive your personal information from social media platforms, including when you interact with us on social media platforms and other contexts on social media platforms regarding our company. The information we receive is regular personal information, including name and interests. The information we receive is controlled by the private data policy of the specific and relevant social media platform, and we encourage you to go through these on each of the social media platforms in question.

We also receive your personal information from project companies and real estate companies when you make a reservation or buy a building project. The information we receive is regular personal information, including name, contact info, address and other information relevant to the specific project. The information we receive is controlled by the private data policy of the specific and relevant real estate company or project company.

Finally, we receive your information from financial institutes and authorities in connection with your purchase of a building project. The information we receive is regular personal information, including name, contact info, address and other information relevant to the specific project. The information we receive is controlled by the private data policy of your financial institute and the private data policy with the relevant authority.

How do we share your information?

We do not sell, let out or share your personal information in any way with others for any independent usage – except as specifically described in this private data policy or with your previous permission.

We share your personal information with our suppliers, who carry out services on our or your behalf, ex. hosting services, suppliers of information technology, real estate companies, financial institutes and suppliers of skilled craftsman services. No matter where your personal information is used and shared by us or suppliers carrying out services on our or your behalf, we make suitable measures to protect your personal information.

We will also share your personal information when required by the law.

When do we delete your data?

We do not store your data longer than necessary in order to obtain the purpose of registrating the data or as long as it is required in order for us to obey our legal obligations to you and securing our rights.

In regard to job applications we delete your personal information 6 months after a refusal of a specific job application.

In regard to marketing consents we delete your personal information 3 years after the last contact with you in connection with the specific marketing consent.

In regard to marketing material on building projects we delete your personal information 5 years after the closure of the accounting year in which the building project was taken over (accounting year = 1/1 to 12/31) – in disputes the deadline for deletion may be expanded for up to 10 years.

We choose to use suppliers who implement security according to generel practice of proper online security, and we use encrypted data communication when transferring sensitive personal data.

This implies, when necessary, to obtain written assurances from third parties with access to your personal information in an appropriate and possible way, in which they guarantee to protect your data with safety precautions designed to provide adequate levels of protection.

However, no information system can be 100% secure, thus we cannot guarantee the complete safety of your information. Furthermore, we are not responsible for the safety of information sent to us through networks not controlled by us, including internet and wireless networks.

What are your rights?

If you no longer wish to receive marketing materials from us, you can either unsubcribe by using the specific functions emphasized in the latest communication from us, or you can contact us by sending us an email using the contact info below.

You have the right to get your information updated or corrected if they change, or if you believe that our registered information on you is inaccurate.

You can also ask for access to see the personal information we have on you, and in some cases, you have the right to receive your personal information in an organized, commonly used and machine-readable text format.
